Boot Fair Tips for Buyers

• Arrive early, but not before the official opening time. Give sellers a chance to set up
• Bring change for smaller items
• Remember that although a few sellers accept card payments, the majority of stalls and the caterers are CASH ONLY
• Bring bags – not everyone offers carriers
• Look at all the stalls – you never know where that “bargain” will be lurking
• Don’t be shy about asking prices. Lots of goods are not priced
• Always make an offer – it might be accepted
• Remember which stalls had the items you were interested in. Going back later in the day might mean the price has been reduced
